  4. thank´╗┐ u ……………Excellent´╗┐´╗┐ video

  5. This is all basic stuff that I learned a long time ago but Mark’s vids are always good to watch.´╗┐

  6. Great video´╗┐ čÖé
so P mode like AV with´╗┐ safety shift enable

  7. Why no 1080p video ? Adorama sell pro level camera and stuff… but their youtube video are a 720p only.

I love adorama vids btw.. even´╗┐ in 720p but it would be better in 1080p čÖé

  12. Excellent Video. I have a question. I often see words like 4 channel transmitter, 16 channel transmitter. What is the meaning of them ? Also, in my Manual´╗┐ flash I see these channels combinations along with Slave A and Slave B. Please explain meaning of keeping flash in “S1 mode with Channel 2 and Slave A” “S2 mode with channel 4 and Slave B” such combinations. I hope you got what my question is. Sorry this question is not related to this post but Can you make a video explaining these terms ?

enjoyed the video, now I want to go backwards, and instead of shooting in Manual Mode, I want to go out and play with my P mode for a day, i wish I new about youtube videos when´╗┐ I was starting out

  14. Welcome´╗┐ back Mark

  15. When I´╗┐ was a beginner I skipped Programm mode, because when I was learning about what it was doing, I rather go in to A or S mode directly, because I automaticly understood A and S mode

  16. Thank you from a beginner, great video for´╗┐ us.

Mark is really getting good´╗┐ at explaining things. He was already good to begin with, now he’s even better. Very smooth and flowing dialogue.

  18. what about iso in p´╗┐ mode??

  19. just´╗┐ what i needed.thanks

  20. A big thank you… very helpful and easy to understand just what I´╗┐ need čÖé

  21. Mark´╗┐ Wallace >

  22. Thank you´╗┐ for this video čÖé

  23. Bloopers after the “show”. Shows Mark has a great sense of´╗┐ humor.

  24. The difference between´╗┐ P and Auto is degree of control. In Auto you only control the On/Off button and the Shutter release.
In P you can choose ISO, WB, EV, Drive Mode, Picture style, AF (Single vs Servo), Metering Mode as well as exposure equivalents (shutter/aperture combinations).
In Av/Tv (S) you can select settings that will override the exposure parameters the camera thinks best. You can still shoot +/- 7Ev if you want and the camera won’t stop you.

  25. Great video…. I never knew this about P mode. That’s really cool. And it looks´╗┐ like P mode allows for control of Exposure Compensation for more creative control. I normally shoot in M but I can see where this as a game changer during events.
