Gallery of Photographs, San Evaristo, (NW of La Paz), Baja California Sur, Mexico

When I arrived I wasn't sure where I should camp. A resident gentleman directed me to the beach near the north end of the cove. It was not a viable place for paragliding but there was a strong El Norte blowing anyway. A sailer educated me about the parrot like beak of the monitor squid by removing it from a dead one on the beach. After a couple of days of walking the area and repairing propellors I moved to the pebble beach at the North side of Punta Evaristo. This was my kind of place. After a day or so the winds calmed somewhat and I made a morning and evening flight. In the evening I shut my motor off and soared the point below the Frigate birds for a half an hour. Yahoo! The next day I made the island flight. to local islands.
