	It was great to see the islands from this perspective. My friend Brian and I paddled his beautiful homebuilt tandem kayak in a figure 8 around the islands. It was a wonderful trip. A classic Baja sea kayaking trip. We were paddling strong and not feeling sore so we decided to paddle from the SE end of Espiritu to La Ventana on the last day. We made it there in late afternoon after a 35 mile paddle. Old paddlers rule!
